Dodgers News: Austin Barnes Reinstated as Rookie Heads to Triple-A

Austin Barnes Reinstated

The Los Angeles Dodgers have reinstated catcher Austin Barnes from the 10-day injured list.

Barnes has been out since June 26 with a strained left oblique.

He will be in the starting lineup Friday night.

Busch Promoted to Triple-A

The Dodgers also optioned catcher Diego Cartaya to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Cartaya, 20, is one of the Dodgers' top prospects.

He has been hitting .294 with two homers and 10 RBIs in 33 games at Double-A Tulsa.
