Former Hillary Clinton adviser Huma Abedin marries Bradley Cooper

Huma Abedin, the former vice chair of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, has married Bradley Cooper, the actor and director. The couple reportedly began dating in 2019, and their wedding was held in a private ceremony in New York City on Saturday, June 30, 2023.

Abedin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1975 and raised inSaudi Arabia. She began her political career as an intern for Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) in 1996. She later worked for Clinton on her 2008 presidential campaign and in the Obama administration as a deputy chief of staff to the US Secretary of State. After Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, Abedin wrote a memoir about her experiences, titled "Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds."

Cooper is best known for his roles in the films "The Hangover" trilogy, "A Star Is Born," and "Guardians of the Galaxy." He has also directed several films, including "A Star Is Born" and "Nightmare Alley." He was previously in a relationship with model Irina Shayk.

The wedding was attended by close friends and family members of the couple. Clinton was reportedly in attendance, along with her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Other guests included former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, and actress Lena Dunham.

Abedin and Cooper are reportedly planning to combine their families and live in New York City.
